Went during my lunch for a chopped beef sandwich and it was SO greasy yet so dry. Had the texture of beef jerky. My bun was orange from all the grease but the meat was super dry. I'm not sure if it's old or had been sitting but it was disgusting. There were two workers sitting down in the lobby and two workers in the back. I stood there for over 5 min waiting to be helped or even acknowledged. Myself and one other customer were the only ones in there so I'm not sure what the workers were doing. I threw it away so after paying almost 14 $ for the meal. Currently at work mad and hungry.

Highly disappointed. Brisket bland with no flavor. I love bbq and this is the first time I didn't finish a bbq sandwich in my entire life. The lunch special sandwich ended up being $20 for a sandwich side of plain potato salad and a drink. Don't recommend. Too expensive for low quality of food. Much better options around. Best part was the pickled carrots.

The staff was not only welcoming but also very helpful, taking time to explain menu options and specials with genuine enthusiasm.One unique touch was having someone on the floor helping with trays and bringing orders directly to the table, making the experience feel extra attentive and customer-focused. The atmosphere was inviting, perfect for enjoying a great BBQ meal. And speaking of the food—everything was delicious!Temple is lucky to have this new location, and we'll definitely be back for more. Smokey Mo's is a fantastic addition to the area.

The staff were all great. Super friendly. We got 2 of the 2 meat plates and 1/4lb turkey on the side. The turkey was wonderful. The chicken, sausage & burned ends were good but the brisket was horrible. No taste, bland and actually a little cold. We were there at 10:15am and had to wait for 10:30am for lunch so unless it was the night before's brisket, I don't know what happened there. The sides were good though. Creamy mac & cheese. The potatoes with cheese & bacon were so good. My husband got the beans and they had brisket in them. All in all it was good. We know it's a new location and still working out the kinks. Will still give it another try.

We did an order through the app for pick up. The only negatives for us were the pork ribs and the amount of smoke on certain items. The pork ribs were a little off tasting, and some portions had way too much salt. The pork belly burnt ends were a very pleasant surprise. The brisket was good. They were sweet and sticky. The homemade roasted cream corn was tasty, the coleslaw was run of the mill not the greatest. The staff was great and friendly the way an establishment should be. It was a great first visit.
