I read the online reviews and knew this was obviously the place to go. We were a little hesitant at the location. Rough parking and a bit swampy. But as soon as we walked up and smelled the smoker, we were happy. The other patrons were loyal locals and encouraged us our whole wait that we were in for a treat. My husband got the chicken and brisket with beans and macaroni and cheese. I got the brisket with macaroni and cheese and jambalaya rice. Oh. My. Word. The meat is fantastic and SOOO SOOOO MUCH! No joke, two meals had to be 10 pounds of food. The sides were unbelievably good. Super cheesy Mac, but the jambalaya rice is a meal in itself with lots of chunks of smoked chicken and sausage. Sooo good! My husband's beans were full of brisket. We stopped by for a meal before our early flight tomorrow and we are just crying because there is no way we can finish the food before we leave, though we will try. ðŸ˜‚ The people waiting were so friendly that they really added to the whole experience. While waiting for the meat to come off the smoker, we met a veteran who was a master sergeant in the army and he was a joy to talk to. Five star experience all around.

Okay y'all... tonight was my first time eating here at Grubbs but it was definitely not the last. The food was absolutely delicious. The Jambalaya Rice was some of the best that I've ever tasted. Everything was perfect. I will be going back again real soon. Please do yourself a favor and stop by Grubbs Bar-B-Que and get some really good authentic Southern Barbecue. You will not be disappointed.

THE FOOD WILL HAVE ME SCREAMING TILL MY DYING DAYS!! Avid bbq lover and when I say I caught the smoke, I CAUGHT THAT SMOKE!! JUICY, SPICED UP, AND SMOKEY!!! The beans it self could force me to write this review but honestly Grubb was such a sweet heart and was so generous I almost cried on the spot. The food is amazing. The vibe was everything I wanted when I imagine Texas styled bbq and Grubb is the cherry on the topðŸ’™ðŸ’› THANK YOU FOR A BBQ EXPERIENCE I WILL NEVER FORGET!! Also the music hit!

Best BBQ in my life. 42 years old, and I have never experienced BBQ like this. First off, great guy it was a pleasure to meet. The food OMG the food where do I start?!? It's DELICIOUS so delicious you can't get nothing like this from a fancy restaurant it just doesn't exist. The flavor guy brings out in the meat is intense. Grubbs Bar-B-Que has it going on.
