The place is huge with lots of seating area. The patio outside makes for a good hangout spot. The food was good, it did hit the spot. But is it the best barbecue in Texas? I don't think so. I got the platter with brisket and jalapeño cheese sausage with side of brussels sprouts and corn. The tacos were tiny and didn't have any meat. I would avoid them total waste of money. If you do get them, you need six. Just expensive for nothing, especially if converting from canadian. The service was good, the guy at the cash is good, has a good attitude, but the recommendation of the smoked rice krispy square was not good, i could not taste the smoke and I just felt like I ended up eating unnecessary sugar for nothing. Maybe try something before selling it so hard. The margaritas just tasted like a mix, not good. And after being outside for a while, they were just watered down from the ice.

I went there for a customer appreciation that my CPA company Seth and Associates were giving. The atmosphere was nice and the customer service was great and friendly. The quesadillas were delicious! Overall great experience!

Our first stop in Houston was for BBQ and this place was recommended to us by the concierge at our hotel. We were greeted upon entry by the nicest staff. Steven was amazing with his recommendations. We both ordered the two meat platter with brisket and pork ribs. The brisket was moist with great seasoning and just the right amount of fat. The pork ribs were also seasoned well and they had a good bite. The sides were incredible especially the potato salad and Brussels sprouts, we also had the corn and the Mac and cheese. Loved the full bar where we ordered a couple of beers to go with our meal. Great first stop in Houston and we will definitely be back!

This place is fantastic! First the food: brisket, pork ribs and even turkey were all perfectly cooked and seasoned. Even the sides were good. I've found that it's rare for a BBQ place to get all these things right. Suitably impressed. Second, the building: seems like it's new, but everything is clean and the bus boys are attentive. Only complaint is not having napkins at the table. But other than that, top notch place!

First i want to start with the atmosphere here. The indoor setting was spacious and very well laid out, the patio/outside venue area was very spacious even with the hidden corn hole boards. This place was recommended to us by several locals, i don't know where or how long ago they got the Top 25 bbq places in Texas but this was not it. The food was sub-par mediocre at best. We order the Ribs with mac n cheese and brussel sprouts. The ribs were meh. The bark on these ribs was as tough as beef jerky, the Brussel sprouts were ok they had a weird after taste im assuming they cooked them with honey and a seasoning of some sort. The mac n cheese was THICK, you need a glass of milk to swallow this stuff. The bbq sauce had waaay to much brown sugar and honey added, it was suuper sweet. Brisket Taco salad, it was just ok. The Beef Tampiquena with rice, and beans. The skirt steak was a bit over cooked, the rice and beans were room temperature. All in all the atmosphere and the Bar/drinks is the best thing about this place. Please note, they were out of chicken, sausage by 7pm, and they wouldn't let us order the ribeye unless we ordered one of there large platters.
