Good golly I came here intending to get coffee at Talisman but got lured in by the ridiculously delicious smells, and the knockout punch was the menu. A smokehouse with matzo ball soup? Plates of BBQ brisket next to loaded smoked pastrami and corned beef

only in Austin, can you get the best barbecue/Jewish deli food. Mum foods is top five for me in Austin for barbecue but it’s a little out there off the beaten track so you don’t have the lines like you have everywhere else. ribs are a must sweet and pep
Got there quickly after opening on a weekend & there was no line or anything. Food came out quickly. The brown butter chess pie is one of the most delicious pies I’ve ever had.
