Was working in the area and our friends joined us for lunch here. Wife and I shared The Carnivore. We had Brisket, Pulled Pork, Chicken Breast, Turkey and Sausage. 2 sides were Mac & Cheese and Beans. They were better then the other BBQ place we tried here in Wylie this week by a mile. My favorites were the Smoked Turkey and Chicken Breast as they were cooked right with plenty of flavor. Pulled Pork and the Sausage was very good. Brisket was not to bad. Beans and Mac were very good. Tried both BBQ sauces and they were really really good. The atmosphere is very unique, love it, and the price I thought was very reasonable. We were happy along with our friends. Highly recommend giving them a try if you are in the area!

Bold Pit BBQ is hands down the best in Wylie and arguably the best brisket I've ever had! Our family eats here regularly, and every time, the food is absolutely amazing. The brisket is melt-in-your-mouth tender, the ribs are packed with flavor, and the sausage has the perfect smoky bite. Don't get me started on their homemade bbq sauce, I've never tasted anything like it.But what truly makes Bold Pit BBQ special is the people. The owners and staff are some of the friendliest, most welcoming folks you'll ever meet. They make you feel like family, and that's one of the many reasons we keep coming back. If you're looking for delicious BBQ and a place that feels like home, this is the spot!

Ordered: ($80+tip) 2 meats ala carte. 1# Brisket/ 1/2# Smoked Bologna, Lg potatoe salad, Lg green beans and 1 individual banana pudding and a brownie, to go. We got home, and our 1/2# bologna was 2 slices, and the 1# of brisket flet light. I got out my food scale and both meats were not the amount I had ordered. Bologna weighted 6oz (1/2# should have been 8), and brisket weighed scant and was mostly fat. I messages them on Facebook and got the response of 2 "thumbs up." Then later, I got a response. Something was mentioned that if I didn't think I got what I paid for, they would give me some more meat. (I dont know really what that means, so I just walk in and say Im supposed to get meat?) I responded to that message and told them I had photos, of they needed to see them. I've had no further response, as of this posting. *although it was the weekend. The food: Potato salad was really good. Smoked Blogona was good. Green Beans are out of a can and have no flavor, you could see a LOT of pepper, but they just taste like canned green beans. Brisket was too Fatty, with a thick fat cap & very "marlbed", some parts were uneatable, a bit grisly. Banana pudding and brownie were ok. I think you should get what you pay for, and I do not feel that the establishment felt the same. *we had informed them of a dietary (gluten) allergy as well and requested the Gluten Free sauce (of course), but were given our regular sauce inside a box of bread along with. (While I understand they are noy a gluten free kitchen, it is important to know care is taken, if carenis taken with an allergy, then it is likely care is taken in other areas, cleaniness, attention to freshness, ect).

We were invited here by friends for the live music. Brad and Kathie performed. They did a great job. Her voice is lovely! It's a bbq joint, but we are pescatarian, so we had the fried catfish basket and the baked potato with only butter and chives. Everything was good. Their BBQ sauce seemed to be homemade, and it was really good. The staff was really friendly and the service was excellent.
