Went in on a Monday to order some food for a celebration of life on Wednesday. We got brisket, ham sausage, beans, potato salad, coleslaw and banana pudding. Everything was delicious! We got everything we needed there! Everyone was so nice and helpful. I have lived here most of my life and have eaten their barbecue many times and I have never had a bad meal there. So, if you have lived here a long time or are new to this area, go to Prines! The chain barbecue places have nothing on them!!

Pros: Smoked German sausage was great, potato salad was creamy and had a nice amount of zing, the banana pudding was classic, and the staff was friendly.Cons: The pork was very dry / unseasoned, the ribs were also dry, the macaroni salad tastes too sweet / almost sugary, and the bbq sauce was not a sauce... it was just colored vinegar water. I think the bbq "sauce" was the most disappointing part of the meal. Luckily I still had some good bbq sauce that I picked up from the farmers market.

Indoor seating was not available. We had to call to order and the gentleman taking our order was very rude. The ribs we ordered were cooked very well however the barbecue sauce was like a vinegar soup! We didn't even realize it was the barbecue sauce until we asked for some and they gave us more of this soup looking substance. Didn't seem to have a good range of sides either, we ended up getting mac n cheese and barbecue sauce from chick fil a to complete our meal, because again- the ribs were cooked well. But that was the only good thing about our experience.

This is likely the worst BBQ I have had in the 21st century. Prine's used to serve outstanding BBQ. Not anymore. First and foremost, you have to order from your car. You find that out when you walk up to the front door where the menu is posted. Unless you are graced with clairvoyance you will need to order from the front door. In the heat. Or the cold, take your pick. Lazy and poor customer service. The meat lacks flavor and the ribs we ordered came with a chunk that was inedible. That I paid for. The sauce was watery and cold. Now let's talk about the beans, potato salad, and cole slaw. You know, the normal sides one gets with a family pack. Well, there are none. Bottom line is that if I had to choose between this BBQ and no BBQ at all, I would choose the latter. It is that bad.

This isn't a sit down kind of BBQ joint, but for a quick lunch it's very good. They have their own style when it comes to the sauce and potato salad - both are good. And the brisket and ribs were also fairly decent. The chopped sandwich will keep me coming though - it's easily the best thing on the menu.
