The food was excellent! The service was excellent! I don't eat beans as a rule but theirs are amazing! The meats are indescribably delicious! That barbecue sauce doesn't need a label!! Steve and the rest of the staff were great! This is THE place for BBQ! Try the Grand Slam deconstructed--your mouth will thank you! We had to try extra sides, especially the banana pudding!

I had the Silver Bullet sandwich—two pieces of Texas Toast with a generous portion of brisket and sausage. Brisket had a good bark and tasted great. The sausage was also delicious (reminded me of Fisher's Market in Muenster but I can't confirm). Barbecue sauce had a nice sweet and sour flavor that complimented smokiness of the brisket. Okra was excellent. My daughter opted for a 1/4 pound of brisket and fries. Fries weren't anything special. Was very happy to see Dublin Bottling Company products!

My husband and I have been to the Celina location and are thrilled to now have one closer to home in Whitesboro.We ate there a couple of Friday nights ago. All the employees were great, especially Reed. What a nice young man! This kid knows how to work hard!Restaurant is nicely set up and they also have outdoor seating and a small bar.We split the one pound of meat with three sides. Loved it that you get different meats. We had the turkey, brisket and pulled pork. All were excellent but that turkey was amazing! Even my red meat loving husband said it was his favorite. We got okra, mac and cheese and green beans for our sides and all three were delicious. The bbq sauce was amazing, just the right blend of spices and sweetness. This was an excellent deal, we had leftovers for the next day.Can't wait to go back!

After experiencing the excellent food on US 380, I was really looking forward to this location opening up. I was not disappointed. While it is smaller, which is more appropriate for the area, the self service drinks are an improvement. I especially appreciate being asked How I would like my barbecue - - lean, moist, mixed, or burnt ends. The barbecue beans are very tasty with some shredded beef added to them. The portion I was served in the restaurant was a nice size as well. I took advantage of the $16 lunch special (until 3pm)—sandwich, side, plus a drink. I will definitely return!
