This was the most wonderful experience. The family who runs it is beyond kind and hospitable. My mom and I wanted some crawfish after a very long day of driving so we called to make sure they wouldn't run out before we got there. These sweet people made sure there was plenty saved for us. The crawfish was perfect and delicious. The potato salad was also fabulous. And the peach cobbler was to die for. An amazing place with amazing people and amazing food. Make your way over to them, you'll be glad you did.

Thank you so much BAYOU BUGS & BBQ for and incredible lunch today! I apologize that we haven't been there sooner, but the Mudbugs were incredible. Sausage, corn and Taters were spot on.Best Boudin balls I have had outside of Baton Rouge.For an outside picnic table venue, it is perfect.And the owners and staff are great folks. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. Will be back again and again!

Quite frankly, it was a horrible eating experience. I got the crayfish, and my mother got the brisket. Wherever they get their catfish from, they don't know how to handle it. I could tell that much, and I wouldn't give a poor review on that alone. Most of the crayfish were either overcooked or not cooked properly. The meat stuck in the tail, some of it was mushy, and half of my mud puppies were falling apart and decayed. For those who don't know what that looked like, the insides are black in color. The brisket looked like it was cooked at least a day ago and reheated. It was completely dry and almost dehydrated. The only reason I'm not giving this place lower is because the family running it was nice, and the outside seating was comfortable. I can't say I'll be going back here.

Wife and I just got some crawfish, boiled gulf shrimp, gumbo, and potato salad to go and it was amazing!! We are kinda picky on mud bugs especially being from the coast now living in North Texas and these bugs were absolutely where u want the flavor and spice to be, u can tell there is Cajun roots doing the cooking! On top of the excellent food, and I mean all of the food was excellent, the guy working there was super friendly and cool to talk to! It's really nice knowing this quality of seafood is available so close to us and we will be there probably again tomorrow! Can't recommend enough!
