We’ve driven past Uncle Mutt’s Barbecue in Victoria hundreds of times and never thought to stop in. Recently, a friend recommended it to us, so we decided to give it a try—and we are so glad we did!
The staff was incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The food? Absolutely amazing. I had the barbecue chicken, which was perfectly moist—not a bit dry—and the mashed potatoes were to die for. My husband went for the brisket plate, and he was just delighted. The brisket was moist, flavorful, and not dried out—a rarity when it comes to barbecue!
The portions were generous, and the prices were competitive—definitely good value for the quality. There’s plenty of table seating, and they also have a drive-thru if you’re in a hurry. Best of all, it’s a family-owned and operated business, which makes supporting them feel even better.

First time here, love it! Five star! Men and women’s bathroom. When you walk in, head towards the stack of trays and the case of food to order. Friendly staff. Delicious chopped sandwich with onion and pickle, ate every bite. Nice seating area with paper towel rolls and salt pepper shakers at the tables. Looking forward to being back!

Very Disappointed Today
This location is never this slow, so today was especially frustrating. I ordered a $10 sausage sandwich with sauce on the side and extra pickles. After waiting over 10 minutes in the drive-thru (with a few cars ahead), I still didn’t get what I asked for. No extra pickles.. If I’m paying that much for a simple order, I expect it to be right — and faster. Really disappointed with the service today.
