My dad is in the hospital here in Tyler and is not a fan of the hospital food, so I had Spring Creek delivered. The food was so good! Delivery was so quick and the food was still fresh and warm.
My dad’s appetite has been non-existent while in the hospital, and he devoured part of the food as soon as it was in front of him.
I ordered the three meat combo with the sliced brisket, the black pepper sausage, and the ribs. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender with a nice flavor. The sausage was a little greasy, but so good! But the brisket was hands down the absolute best! The charred edges were seriously mouthwatering delicious. The Mac and cheese was ok, and the cole slaw was really good if you are a fan of the saucy slaw, which I am. We also got the fried okra because my dad loves fried okra, and the first thing he said when he tried it was “Oh, that’s some good okra!”
Thank you Spring Creek for encouraging him to eat by serving delicious BBQ.
All in all, I will be ordering from here again.
Counter help were polite and friendly. However I was shocked at the price of a chopped beef sandwich..more so when I opened the wrapper..$11.95 for what’s in the picture. Needless to say I won’t be back
Got 2 meat plate (not much meat). Sweet Tea almost out at self serve, so when needed refill, the 3 young folks standing around BS’ing, there was no Tea. She took it back to get some but 10 min later, still no sweet tea. And why do you ask for a “tip” when I’m paying before I even eat? Tipping was once designated for service, which I never received- now everyone treats tipping like an entitlement. Did not have bbg beans, but instead pinto beans-ugh! Brisket & turkey was good. SC once had the best rolls – not anymore. Won’t be back – not the BBQ experience I’m looking for!
As I go back & read reviews now, there is a common theme to take away – amazing that mgmt/owners haven’t figured it out and put permanent fix in…..
Great BBQ turkey & ribs with lots of veggie options. Love the freshly baked yeast rolls. Kids Menu. Large dining room. Friendly staff.
The guys cutting/serving the meat are always so friendly! The food is always delicious. It’s a great, casual place to enjoy good food and good fellowship with friends or family. Definitely recommend!
