The smoke from the barbecue pit will put your taste buds on high alert. If you know, barbecue? The sliced brisket was absolutely 💯 tender. The ribs are firm yet come off the bone tender. The staff is outwardly and purposefully attentive. It’s a Texas all-around signature. Friendly big!!!
Do not discount this BBQ joint. I have only tried the chopped beef but it was amazing and the staff is super friendly. Place is clean. Good food. Priced right. What more could you ask for. Had it multiple times and it is consistently good. Will definitely eat here again and again.
When I asked about your potato salad and if it was changed, they young lady at the register told me they didn’t change it, so the Bodacious in Tyler has a mayonnaise based potato salad and the one in Kilgore has more of a mustard base. Maybe they are the same, but something is definitely different. Why are they different? I personally choose the one from the Kilgore location! The below picture is from Tyler.🤔🤔

Been going to Bodacious for a while now & they know their customers pretty well(Since U go often) I lik(ed) their Fish Plates UNTIL MOTHER’S DAY 5/2025. They CHARGED ME $2.00 FOR 8 ketchups🤔 NEVER HAVE I HEARD OF OR EXPERIENCED Being CHARGED $2.00 For some damn Ketchup. U can literally go ANYWHERE & ASK FOR KETCHUP & IT’S FREE🤣 OK OK Soooo The price is usually $15 & some change for my Fish Plate order. BUT strangely I was told a Different price $17 & some change🤨WHY is it $17 I asked?! Cashier guy said OH SHE TOLD ME U WANT 8 KETCHUPS. SO THEY TOLD ME CHARGE U EXTRA FOR THE 8 KETCHUPS.(I didn’t ask for ANYTHING. Just Placed my order) I WILL NEVER GO BACK to their Establishment again! They give You 4 Pieces of Fish, a hand full of fries & they give you 2😶 ketchupsðŸ˜ðŸ¤£ðŸ˜ðŸ¤£BUT OK! Thank U for showing up in such a manner🧿
