Food was delicious but the prices were not! I would still return, though. For 2 Brisket Sandwiches, 2 sides and 2 drinks it was 38 bucks or so. Everything was very good but the Mac and Cheese was ok, not bad. The fries were better in my opinion. Everything was clean and untensils/cups stocked. The staff were very polite and great as well!
I ordered take out. It was the brisket, potato salad and fries. The brisket was very good and the apple BBQ sauce was awesome.
Food was good, chicken, pork burnt ends, Texas Twisters , fried okra, baked potato and sweet potatoe were all good. Wife didn’t care for the sausage. BBQ sauces were good. Didn’t really like ordering each item separately, that was a little different. The place us very clean and neat. Overall experience was good, prices were a little high but not terrible. Good BBQ but definitely not close to the best BBQ we have had.
I don’t know about service or atmosphere. I did the DoorDash, but who slices brisket with the grain? The brisket tasted fine, but was stringy and tough, a good barbecue restaurant knows better than that. Texas twister had no heat at all, couldn’t even find any cream, cheese or brisket in it, ribs were fall off the bone good five star
Had not tried Blue Ember before. Went because all restaurants had a long wait on Mother’s Day. My mother-in-law was happy to get BBQ which made me and my wife very happy as well. We were all pleasantly surprised. It was a little pricey but you get what you pay for. We prefer not having to rely on a server as good service is so hard to come by. My wife and MIL ordered the baked potato. Was perfect. I got the Special Ops Plate. Seemed small but filled me up and I really enjoyed their sausage. Everything else was extraordinary as well. Overall, if everything stays the same, we will be back. Hope it wasn’t just Mother’s Day being why it was so wonderful! Oh … and the waffle and ice cream dessert was awesome!!!
