Came here on our last night of vacationing in the area. I cant even put in words how wonderful it all was. The service was beyond perfection! The politeness the manners, not something we get in the city much anymore. The food was great! They had little doggos roaming that were so fun and sweet and absolutely adorable! The atmosphere was so cozy and just welcoming. We could have sat there for hours listening to the music and laughter. If we come back to Big Bend I think this may be the only place we eat lol.

I ordered the brisket with beans and tater salad. I enjoyed the brisket so much that I ordered a pound to go. The tater salad and beans were good. I would return if I'm ever in the area again. The patio was quiet at 4pm. I included a picture of the roadrunner because it was the first opportunity I had to take a picture of one.

Decent barbecue and sides. We had brisket, slaw, waffle fries, house margarita and beer. It was all good. Maybe a little pricier than home, but it's Terlingua and restaurants are scarce. Pricey for them to get ingredients down here so I get it. The restaurant atmosphere was rustic and cool. And service was good, too!

The brisket and pork ribs were very delicious. The pork ribs fell off the bone. Brisket was very moist. The sauce was tasty! Great atmosphere. You can sit inside or out. When you're in the Big Ben State Park area of Southwest Texas, stop by the Rustic Iron BBQ.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Visiting the area and stopped by here for dinner. Specifically, I had the brisket tacos, turkey, brisket and fries. It was all very delicious and well made. The flavors were 10/10 and so was the service and atmosphere. Also, the beans are delicious ðŸ˜‹ I'm so glad I got to experience this and I hope you do too.
