The pickles and tea were good. The beef was lacking flavor and a little too moist. The regular bbq sauce was very sweet and the potato was ok. I was visiting town, and probably wouldn't go back.

BBQ, it's a Texas thing. Soul Man's meets expectations. Love the food. Hot Links, Brisket, ribs, potato salad, beans, Buttermilk Pie. The BBQ plate is a little pricy. Then again BBQ has been pricy going back to the 1970s. Everyone has their likes and dislikes for Texas BBQ. My favorite is the Hot Links. Chopped Brisket is good (perhaps not the best). The sides are good and what I expect to be served with BBQ including the Texas Toast. Recommend visiting...or at least putting in your BBQ restaurant rotation.
