3rd Coast BBQ is one of my favorite spots to eat BBQ in the Spring/Woodlands area. I got the pulled pork sandwich, with collard greens and creamy Mac and cheese. Everything was flavored amazingly, however, the greens were a bit cold and the mac and cheese was barely warm. Other than that it was amazing as always!

This is my 1st tine here. I was hooked after the 1st bite of the ribs. The meat was so tender it just fell off the bone and melted in my mouth. Also ordered Mac and cheese. THIS WAS REAL MAC AND CHEESE!! The kind that you would get at Granny’s for the holidays. You know the BBQ is good when you don’t need bbq sauce

Found this little gem today! The brisket was so freaking good and moist! Tons of flavor. The mac n cheese was also so good! Will be coming back to try more! Plenty of outdoor seating. Just order your food at the window walking in and they bring the food right out!

I’ll start with the fact that are always kind when I go and that really does matter, EXCEPT for when you’re really looking for some gooood Texas BBQ. This food truck called Smokin Aces at the Shell on 99 and Birnham Woods is phenomenal, but they weren’t there today so I door dashed 1/4lb of brisket for $11 and a pint of potato salad for $13. The potato salad was pretty good, but the 1 slice of brisket I received wrapped in foil was just like I remembered…BLAND!

I never leave reviews but today I was plum disappointed that one slice of brisket was $11. I get a plate of delicious brisket and two sides from Smokin Aces. I’m just sharing so others aren’t shocked like I was.

They’ve recently been listed on the Houston Chronicle’s Top 30 in Houston so had to give them a try. They’ve got a very cool little shack just across I-45 from The Woodlands, you order at the window and they bring it out, 100% outdoor seating at picnic tables, but shaded with fans. I got a late lunch at 1:30pm and found the meat lukewarm and the fat had started to congeal on both fatty brisket and ribs. Very disappointing as it was clear that the underlying flavor was good or excellent – hard to tell when it’s not warm and the fat is sticky. I found their house sausage to be bland and uninteresting, but the potato salad, smoked beans, and pickles were all excellent. I think they deserve another try, but I don’t understand selling a $40 lunch and not getting the temp right.
