Staff here is super friendly and patient! The food here is amazing. I got the brisket and ribs and both with fatty but not too fatty it was a good balance and had a lot of flavor. I also got the baked potato which for some reason was just so delicious, it was big and cooked perfectly and complimented the meat well when paired together. Great place to stop and get some food if you’re making a drive by!
The food was good! We are from Austin, so the standard for BBQ is high! The service was super fast and friendly. The restaurant has a cute themed decor.
My teens had the brisket sandwich and left nothing behind. My husband got the Pit Stop nachos. It’s definitely enough to share with a full table! I got the smoked chicken; it was good. I would have loved a bit more smoky flavor. The creamed corn was my favorite thing from my plate. We drank water and with tip, it was $80 for 4 adults. Stop in if it’s meal time when you’re passing through this area.
Great bbq and super nice staff. Chicken special was really tasty. Clean restaurant and bathrooms. Will definitely be stopping in again on our next road trip!
I ordered the Brisket Tacos with potato salad and coleslaw. The meat was amazing. It was soft, tender, juicy and succulent. The meal was delicious. The coleslaw had pineapple which was a nice offset to the fatty meat.
I also ordered Granny’s Pecan Cobbler which was awesome.
My family stopped here after going to the Sonora Caverns on the way back home. The menu selection was great and my wife and I both opted for the chopped brisket sandwich plates with beans and creamed corn. The sandwich was well portioned and delicious! Normally, I dont expect too much from sides but both were so good I wanted to order more!
Excellent Texas barbecue at this location, we will be coming back if we are ever in the area.
