I’ve heard so many great things about this place about it being one of the best BBQ places around and just me being really honest I wasn’t that impressed but my boyfriend enjoyed his food but he wish it wasn’t as much fat on the meat. The beans were to salty but the macaroni and cheese was great. Don’t go off the menu price that’s online tho. Customer service was top-notch and great atmosphere.
The best BBQ around. It’s literally worth it to drive for 20 minutes to get there from LBK instead of all the places in town. I wish they were open 7 days a week!
The only reason it’s a 4-Star for me is the layer ðŸ¤ðŸ» of dust on all tables in the dining room.
We had the brisket Mac and Cheese, the fried cabbage, burnt end, brisket and the jalapeno sausage. The burnt end is the best, all the rest were great, too.
Right off a busy highway, you can find this little gem. With no expectations at all, my wife wanted to try this place. The brisket is the best meat on the menu, no sauce needed at all. If your brisket is this good, it’s a money printer. This brisket can hold itself with the best of them. The cabbage is a new twist to vegetables with BBQ, which turned out to be one of my favorite things of the meal. I’d give this place an 8.3. If you are around LBK, try and make time for this little gem.
Amazing food and service. It’s worth the drive from Lubbock. You might want to call ahead to see if they have what you want, as they run out sometimes since they are becoming increasingly popular (and well-deserved). They’ve got free beer if you’re dining outside. Moist brisket, good mac & cheese. There’s so much more I could say, but I’ll just say that I struggle to find any complaints.
I was really surprised. You know that saying don’t judge a book by its cover ? Well, let me tell you, I wasn’t going to post anything about this place because then the crowds start to show up and it can make or break a small restaurant. But they were so darn good!! So, the burger topped with brisket, my son who is super picky, gave it a 4.5 out 5. I just gave him a side eye… lol. We tried the pulled pork , brisket, and pork ribs . Pulled pork and brisket were delicious. The ribs were super good . But had a bold pepper flavor that I think you will love or not. The same goes with the atmosphere. You will love it or not. The food was so good, just get it to go. Lol. Overall, my family will be back . There are no pictures because it looks like BBQ. BBQ is something that needs to be tasted to know. Next time, I will try the sausages and turkey.. for sure 😋 .
