Drove here from Floresville. Definitely worth the drive!!!! Had the fully loaded baked potato with chopped brisket and sausage. Absolutely delicious! Tried the ribs and they were delicious as well. A little sweetness was just right. Great flavor and tenderness. Friendly staff and decent prices. Will definitely be going back often!!!!

Ribs were amazing. Baked potato salad was awesome, I love a warm potato salad and Schulze’s is a rooting tooting good dish.

I was traveling from Kingsville to San Marcos. I stopped at a little dive and had two bites of one of the worst meals of my life. I needed to get the bad taste out of my mouth and I came across Schulze’s. It was nearing closing time so they were out of lots of their meats. All I wanted was a sandwich so I chose brisket. It took them awhile to get it ready but the wait was so worth it. The meat was perfectly tender and had a wonderful smokey taste. The barbecue sauce was a perfect complement to the brisket. Probably the best brisket sandwich I’ve ever eaten. I was a happy camper heading into San Marcos. Can’t recommend their brisket sandwich high enough. It was spectacular.

I grew up eating Schultz’s in my hometown. I didn’t think it could get better, but it did! Same amazing BBQ sauce, and the brisket was perfect. I met one of the owners, and I was able to share with her how they catered my wedding in 2003! She was so sweet. I’ll definitely be back here.

Amazing staff, super clean place, sausage, ribs, and coleslaw were really good. Brisket was sadly on the dry side, and the mac and cheese weren’t our favorite. They seemed more like a warm pasta salad.
