Atmosphere/service: Great setup, customer service was awesome; BBQ was ok. Food: Was hoping for more but didn't quite hit the spot, cuts of brisket also seemed like leftover cuts. Sauces were good, like the fact I can get as much jalapenos and pickles I want. Mac and cheese was one of the best I've had, highly recommend. Sausage was good but nothing spectacular.

Got there right at opening and tried a Turkey, ribs, brisket and sausage. The service was great! They threw me a little cup of Mac n cheeses to try too. Pickle bar is added bonus with 3 great sauces to cover all tastes. Cherry glazed ribs were amazing and my favorite, but all 4 selections were stellar! Big smokehouse was kicking out great smells. One HUGE think i appreciated was the 1030 am open so i could check this one off my list before my flight! Deserves its spot as one of the best in Texas!

It was our first time coming to the restaurant. We ordered the chopped brisket with Mac and cheese. It was good. The brisket needed a little salt for me. I had the pickles on the side. For my drink, I had half lemonade and grape kool-aid. It was fire. We also ordered the artichoke dip with the fresh chips. We will be coming back.

Very friendly staff who were very helpful right as we walked in the door. We tried all the meats. Everything was delicious. I especially liked the brisket. Sides of mac n cheese and creamed corn are also a must. Be sure to stop in. You won't be disappointed. Great play area for the kids too!

Dinner started on a high the moment we walked through the door and ended even higher with our last bite of banana pudding. The tell-tale aroma of smoked meats hits hard and lifts your spirits, so if the line seems long, just hop in and enjoy the wait. The pace of the line was faster than I ever expected, and the food was ready quickly. The meats were all tender, tasty, and had very little fat. I loved the unique baked beans here with its chunks of peaches and the delicious creamed corn with jalapeños. The family's favorite entree was unanimously the Cheesy Chop (macaroni and cheese with chopped beef). Whatever you do, make sure to plan for leftovers so you leave room for dessert. We liked the mixed berry cobbler (served cold... would have been amazing if served hot), ice cream, and fried strawberry pie (was a bit small but hot... and was indeed amazing), but the banana pudding, no kidding, was absolutely out of this world. I can't believe it could taste so delicious but be so light and fluffy. I also didn't know I could eat a pint of pudding, but there you have it. I'm so full yet salivating once again as I type this!Parking seemed sparse, and the decor is no-frills, but you probably aren't coming here for a prom night type of dinner. The price is a little high for the small side dishes, and almost seemed too cheap for the large sides. All in all, are only real gripe is the barbecue sauce. Three flavors, and we couldn't find one we liked... all too vinegary. Of course, we are fans of KC BBQ more than anything, so we like a thick and sweet sauce. We may get the food to go or even bring our own sauce, but just the same, we will absolutely be back. Of course, we will be bringing any friend or family who wants some authentic Texas barbecue.
