Killer price. Killer vibe. And an absolutely killer guy. And as others have said, cash only.The meat was amazing. $20 bought a serving of each, brisket, ribs, turkey, and sausage. By 1/4 done, I was ready to head home early and take a nap.Served with a fat slice of white bread. 2 sides. From cream corn & potato salad, to green and baked beans. And a 12oz soda. Everything came together amazing.Even scored a $5 slice of peach cobbler the size of my face.I ain't a famous critic, nor that much a yapper. But portions. Quality. Presentation. And charisma. All make this spot seriously worth anyone's time.

My wife and I stopped by for a quick bite to eat. We just googled bbq near us and this place popped up as we drove down HWY 90 on the way to the shooting range. We both ordered the 2 meat plate. Wife got brisket and sausage with potato salad and green beans. I got the brisket and pork ribs with cream corn and green beans. Brisket was good, the sausage too had a good snap and taste. My favorite was the pork ribs. I'm very picky in pork ribs, not anyone can nail them. Smiths is one of the few that I can say can do them right. Take your time to go out of your way. It'll hit the spot for sure if you're craving bbq!

First off, I most definitely tried my best to clear my plate but my stomach was TOO full! Also, CASH ONLY, so stop by the ATM before you go. Now this place is most refreshing for getting some damn good barbecue. Of all the years out here in San Antonio, I haven't found not one great bbq spot (until today that is), and usually they're all just meh, or extra mediocre. No real flavor or personality put into it. This spot though? Most definitely beat them out the water and for the price??? You'll leave FULL AND HIGHLY SATISFIED. Affordable. Great portion. Great taste. I highly recommend the ENTIRE menu. Just give it a try. If you'd like a real great sample of the meats, go ahead and get that 4 meat / 2 sides plate (and it's only $18!!).. and yes the potato salad is damn delicious! You won't be disappointed. The peach cobbler??! Immaculate! Oh! And make sure you get that sweet tea! Cause when I tell you it's southern down home perfection in ya mouth, that's just what I mean! Keith was sooo pleasant and his service was quick, the atmosphere definitely gave cook out with ya fam playing dominoes and spades while the little ones run around having a time! There is a reason they got 4.9 stars..let's get em' to 5! Thank you Keith for your excellent service and your magnificent cooking. I want to make sure you serving us up EVERY time! Cause you threw down! And I most certainly cannot wait to come back! Oh..and please hurry and start selling your sweet tea in gallons!..I'm telling you, I'm buying TWO! ðŸ¤¤

Absolutely delicious. This is the first 5 Star review I've given to any business. I can eat a piece of bread with this delicious BBQ sauce. All the meat was tender, smoky, and succulent. The strawberry shortcake was amazing it wasn't overly sweet it was perfect. It is cash only so make sure to bring some bills.

When I tell you finding GOOD BBQ in San Antonio has been so difficult to find. I promise this place won't disappoint. To the smell, the food, the quantity, and the price it is so worth getting your BBQ here. I finished the entire plate!! So flavorful and delicious aroma, the person that assisted us was so kind and attentive and had us excited to try the food. He did not disappoint when he asked us if we were ready to try the best bbq we've ever had. Will be coming back for more!
