It’s been a while since we got to have some Texas BBQ. Neither of us had ever been here, and for a commercial kitchen it was absolutely delicious! We like more of a mom and pop when it comes to BBQ, it’s just usually better. This was very good. I had the loaded potato topped with brisket and a side of sausage. She had a build a bowl with Mac and cheese, french fries, brisket and sausage. I would definitely be back. It was real good. We also got a slice of pecan pie and a banana pudding. All very good
I live in the Northeast part of the US and don’t often get the chance to have Good Southern BBQ of any kind and this place was across the street from where I stayed and am I GLAD that I took a little walk!!!!! I was greeted by an AMAZING and Friendly Staff and I ordered the 3 meat platter ( Brisket, Ribs, Sausage) with Mashed Potatoes with Gravy and the Ranch House Beans with a piece of Pecan Pie !!!! The food was ABSOLUTELY OVER THE TOP DELICIOUS and without a doubt the BEST BBQ RESTAURANT I have been to as their Texas BBQ is AMAZING !!!!!! When I am in this area again this place will DEFINITELY be on my list of places to stop at for AMAZING BBQ !!!
YOU GUYS ROCK !!!!!!!!
We visited from Louisiana due to basketball tournament and stopped at this restaurant as it was highly recommended. The food was amazing as me and my husband was throughly impressed and were both picky about BBQ food. We left the next day to go back to Louisiana and ordered more to take with us lol. Amazing food and service. Plus the ribs were to die for!!
Trucking through Texas, I’m parked across the street at the TA, and there is no way I’m gonna get Burger King when this Texas bbq place is across the street. I walked over to this restaurant, and even the police that were ticketing a car on their driveway waived to me… that’s Texas love. Anyhow, I ordered the bbq rib and pulled pork. My 2 sides were beans and coleslaw. The plate was a little on the pricy side but was very good. Being from California, we don’t have many bbq options, so I always try Texas bbq restaurants when I’m in Texas. Will be back again next time I’m in the area.
Had lunch while getting tires next door. The good – they let me substitute an extra side for the drink, complimentary soft serve cone, and it smelled good going in. The bad – the chopped beef bbq had no flavor. It had the color of gray ground beef with no bark bits mixed in. Really, the only flavor was from the pickles I added. Some of the other meats looked better, and would have chosen them if I had seen the chopped beef.
