My husband had the Ox tail and said it was out of this world. I had the fried fish and it was delicious.The best cornbread I've ever had.Great portions you will not go hungry. Our meal was a To go order.Highly recommend.

Got the Mega Big Jack and boy was it mega. Some of the best BBQ I've had across the US. Perfect amount of hot bbq sauce covering some ribs, bbq sausage, and pulled pork. The potato base was well seasoned and the texture of the potato's was neither over nor underdone. All around great, balanced meal.

I had met the owners at a Back to School event and I'm just getting around to stopping by the restaurant. I got a sausage and brisket sandwich and boudin egg rolls. Everything was tasty and I really like the boudin. The cashier was cool and patient with me because it was my first time. I can tell it's a true vibe from all the reserved tables for karaoke tonight. Imma have to come back later on a Thursday to vibe out and have a drink.

I saw a blogger review stating that this was a Black owned must try restaurant. I decided to drive an hour with a friend to try it for my Birthday. Let me tell you, they did not disappoint. The food was outstanding. We bought multiple items on the menu to eat in the restaurant and others to take home for later. The Catfish, Shrimp, green beans, cornbread, biscuits, Big Jack potato and especially the seafood mac-n-cheese was delicious. All was served by excellent staff Faye and Kay Kay who were both very attentive, pleasant and thankful. Faye expressed that she wished the owners were there to meet us. I highly recommend eating at TaterQue.
