Not sure why this place gets such a low rating overall. My biggest complaint is they never have regular tea or even sweet tea. They do have plenty of mango/strawberry/pomegranate/tutti-frutti whatever tea that I don’t drink. I always have to ask counter staff to refill my tea in their kitchen. Which is a hassle when there is a long line of people ordering.
The brisket and Turkey are excellent and well priced. I buy a beef sandwich and some Turkey for my wife. The beans are usually excellent but not much brisket in the beans I’ve noticed.
Some of the customers dining here are terrible. I stood in line and some lady touched me from behind. Just some real trashy people who like to hang out here and bother everybody.
It’s nice to eat and then do grocery shopping when you’re full. And the happy hour prices are awesome on Tuesdays. I hope they can get more NORMAL tea available, and I’ll change my rating.
Overall, I would recommend this place to family and friends.
True Texas BBQ was good. The Beef Brisket Baked Potato was good but needed a little extra sauce on the potato. The Brisket Sandwich was moist and delicious. The Peach Cobbler was good but it needed more peaches.
The brisket? Absolute perfection. Deep bark, rich smoke ring, melt-in-your-mouth tender. They’ve clearly mastered low-and-slow. Each bite had that ideal balance of smoke, fat, and seasoning—no sauce needed, but their sauce? Fire. Tangy, a touch sweet, just enough heat to dance on your tongue without stealing the show. Man so nice had it twice!!! And that brisket baked potato 🥔 😋

Keep it simple. I normally go in just for shopping, but today, that BBQ smell was calling my name! I’m so glad I went in. It was quick and easy to order and the manager there (Jason, I believe) greeted me with a warm smile and hello, before another worker passed along my food. I’ll definitely be back again to try some other items! Thank you for the experience!
The brisket was tough and had no flavor but ribs did have flavor they were tender but not as tender as I wanted a pull off the bone tender coleslaw not very good at all but cream corn was a 3 out of 5 should be more creamy i gave it a two because the brisket had no flavor at all
