We were greeted right away when we walked in. This was our first time here, and we will certainly be back. The prices were fair, the food was very good, and the woman who was cooking prepared the catfish exactly how I wanted it (not overdone and dry like so many BBQ places).
Apparently, they recently changed their menu a bit, so here is a current picture….

First time here and let me tell you that this place is…Delicious bbq met with top notch customer service!

The brisket was moist, seasoned and smoked to perfection! The sweet potato was made deliciously sweet with some sort of candied crunch! The whole thing was mouth watering! My husband ended up ordering again to try the brisket sandwich!

I also appreciate the dividers between each table!

I’m so surprised at how quiet this place is! With just how good the food is alone, I would expect this place to be packed!! Maybe we just came at the “right” time…for us! lol

I’m embarrassed with the photo of my demolished plate and half a sandwich lol, but I thought about taking a pic at the last minute!

11/10—We will definitely be back again! So happy we found our bbq spot!

Amaaaaaazing BBQ and excellent service at lightning speed (on a Saturday no less). Tried the moist brisket sandwiches and potato salad. They were perfect. Really liked the variety of in house sauces and the selection of sides was great. Can’t wait to try more when I come back!!

The food was excellent the rib tips were so tender. I had the potatoe casserole with the sweet potatoes. Pickles and onions. Never had rib tips like that before. I’m From Chicago and I most definitely recommend this place.

My first visit here, but not my last. Conveniently located on Landa St, near the NB city hall. Plenty of parking, just be careful backing up since it’s on Landa. I wonder if there’s access from the city hall parking lot, which would provide better parking options.
Fun back porch, family picnic theme seating available. Ms. Sheila greeted me right away and explained the menu. She was very friendly. I ordered one meal for dine in and another for take out. The ribs were perfectly cooked, just not as hot as I would like. The sides were good enough, next time I’ll upgrade and try the sweet potato casserole. The pinto beans were served hot, hot, hot! Yummy! The to go plate had brisket, which was moist and tender. Oh, the kool-aid was just right. Pick your flavor: red or purple? 😀
