We came here on the suggestion of a business associate. Overall it was good but I think I expected more. Our appetizer was the Chips with Queso & Brisket. That may have been the highlight of the meal.A group of four had lunch and everyone ordered something different. I had the Brisket Sandwich w/Potato Salad. I think the Brisket had too much sauce which over powered the meat which I think could have stood on its own. The Potato Salad was just the right amount of all ingredients to make it great! The others chose Ribs, Burger, & Sliced Brisket. I was told the ribs fell short of expectation. He said they were cooked perfectly but again the sauce over powered the meat. No complaints from the Burger or Sliced Brisket.I did order a glass of Lemonade - it wasn't worth it. It seemed to lack the lemony flavor I was looking forward and could barely tell the sweetness. They were no refills on Lemonade which was disappointing so customers pay by the glass. If one were to order go with easy ice since that seemed to take up most of the glass with not enough Lemonade to last.No time for dessert as we all had places to be. Our servers told us the Banana Pudding was really good unfortunately we were traveling and none of us wanted to travel back with it.If I am in the area I would like to try the menu for dinner so I would give this place another try. Maybe my business would allow me a return trip if so I'd stop in again.

The sign said they have the best margaritas in three counties, so I had to try them! I was impressed! They use fresh squeezed juice. No mixes! Pro tip... get tajin on the rim instead of salt. It's so good! Adds a little salty spice to your sweet margarita. I had the catfish and it was great! I ate two pieces before I took the picture, so just know it comes with 4 good size pieces of fish. My bartender was fantastic and the bar area is great. I would definitely come back again!

Definitely coming back the next time I'm in Mineral Wells! The staff were friendly and helpful even though it was busy. The 10oz. ribeye was spiced and cooked perfectly. I loved the smoke and char flavor. Next time I'm getting the Cowboy Beans, those look good. The rolls will frustrate my Dr., but only Granny makes'em better. The bathroom was clean and well stocked.

Fantastic barbeque. Ribs, brisket, ham, and sausage were amazing. Sides and dessert need some work (other than poblano grits they were incredible). Appetizer sampler with armadillo eggs, fried pickles, and fried green tomatoes was great. Chicken fry could've used more seasoning but was incredibly tender and a very good portion. Beautiful restaurant inside. Service was okay. We will definitely be back.

5 of us stopped for a work lunch. We were greeted and seated promptly. Our waiter, Gage, was top-notch. He was friendly, attentive, and funny. He made recommendations for our meal. I chose the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and fried okra. The steak was tender, the breading seasoned well, and the cream gravy was what I expected with a CFS. Overall I was very pleased with the food. My table mates had mixed reactions on the sliced brisket. The ribs and smoked sausage were very much enjoyed. This is definitely a great place to stop for a wonderful meal.
