I called in order and specially asked if ribs and turkey fresh. She said just taken off the smoker. I ordered turkey and ribs. Cost was $50.00. Got home and both the turkey and ribs were so dry I couldn't eat it. I could not believe it. Meat had end pieces. I was shocked it was so bad. The lady was nice but I will not be spending my money there again.

Good food overall, their getting a little picky on their portions now though. I've consistently gotten like 10 fries and 5 onion rings per order.

It was Friday, and the catfish was fresh and crisp and delicious. The bang bang nachos didn't fit the bill. They looked amazing, but we're short on chopped beef. The cheese was dry and not melty and gooey. They were, however, generously portioned with chips, jalapeños, sour cream, and pico de gallo. The sliced brisket was ok. It looked amazing, but that wasn't something I got to sample. FYI, the bbq sauce on my nachos was sweet. If you like that, you will appreciate it. I think we will have to go back before we can make a true determination. The locals seemed happy.

Brisket was good. Sausage was run of the mill. Veggies were good too. Problem was. My wife ordered the turkey. When they finally got her order right they only served her 3 little tiny pieces of meat. Not even enough that you could say that you got your moneys worth. This was our first time there and we will definitely not come back. She was still hungry when we left. My meal was okay but hers was definitely underwhelming. I don't know if the guy that was preparing the order got mad because he had to go back and do it again but to give her such a small portion it was ridiculous.

This place is a good spot in Mcgregor for some good BBQ. The menu is great take on a traditional BBQ menu. Pushing the limits on what a BBQ Restaurant is known for and I give them a lot of props for serving what they do here! Takes a lot to venture outside the box. Onto the food....! Most of the time when I order pork I'm disappointed because I have been spoiled on real pulled pork from the Carolinas, George and Virginia. Typically pulled pork outside of these states just isn't good. Usually having that old, dirty, stale pig taste. For the first time in a long time I had pulled pork here that actually tasted like a fresh clean pig that hasn't sat around too long and was quite enjoyable. The coleslaw was a good complement to the sandwich it didn't overpower it and the sauce was a nice touch. You get a little sweetness from the slaw and a little sour from the pickles and sauce which paired very well with their version of pulled pork. Over all great sandwich! The white trash burrito is definitely a good stoner burrito. This thing is a sloppy good time. It is a bit of a mush burrito because the flavors run together until you bite into the sausages and it really breaks up the profile at that point. Then taking the next bite it's hard to tell what you're tasting. With that said if your hungry and need to satisfy the urge and you don't know what to order this is for you. The chop beef is very good. Their beef is actually chopped not processed or pulled. The texture is what you would expect from chop beef and the flavor is on point. I think if they could catch some of those beef drippings in a bottle and squeeze a bit on these sandwiches they will be hard to beat. That little extra moisture with the sliky texture from the drippings would knock this sandwich out of this world. The small house salad is nice because it's a leafy green salad not just iceberg lettuce. The ranch is the one we all look forward to when we go out to eat. The Cobbler was amazing! Seriously! It has been so long since I had a Cobbler that wasn't so sweet you couldn't taste what you were eating. Every flavor in this dish was easily picked up! Making this my favorite part of the meal. If I wasn't so full I would have eaten 3 servings easily! Definitely a must try for anyone! Also while your their pick up a bottle of that Felony BBQ AP seasoning they have for sale! I think you'll be happy with what you can create with these. Try them on everything!
