Heavily smoked BBQ favored by many, but I am not a fan of. Many prefer this kind of BBQ, and I enjoy the taste. It's the effects I feel a couple of hours later when the BBQ "repeats" on me and leaves a bitter taste when I burp. I'm sure it's a function of my old age. The place is very nice and freshly remodeled. The food is wholesome, and the beans are well cooked (if not lacking in a little salt). The potato salad and sauce are good as well. The pork ribs were a little past done. The brisket is good. They are known for turkey sausage, but on this day, they offered pork sausage, so I ordered that.

Love the new Inman's! Best tasting brisket I have had locally in a very long time. Food a bit salty, but they made every effort to provide good service and food on a Door Dash order.

The brisket and ribs were on the dry side, Bill Miller quality to me. The sides were delicious especially the white mac n cheese. The root beer is delicious as well. Will be back for the root beer and mac n cheese.

waited 20 minutes and paid $24 for two slices of sausage and a side of mac and cheese. everything was cold and the food was bland. the inside is nice to sit but won't be coming back. and there was dead roaches....

My experience with Inman's is limited to a single interaction, so I can't speak to anything beyond that.We ordered a whole smoked turkey for Thanksgiving and it didn't turn out too well for us. After following the warming instructions to the letter, the bird was warmed completely and ready to eat. The problem was that it had little to no smoked flavor or smell, and the meat was light pink to dark pink inside. I've been around plenty of smoked turkeys from various pitmasters and other long established BBQ places, and have never experienced anything like this one. It just didn't seem to be fully cooked. That was a hard sell to our family and friends, and the bird went almost completely uneaten. Nobody wanted to take any as leftovers, and the whole thing got tossed in the trash. Pretty embarrassing for all involved, and a complete waste of $115.
