Wiley has an amazing barbecue place. The food is always good. His brisket is our family favorite. He is our go-to anytime we need brisket for a family get together. He’s very reliable and his food is always good. His prices are always very reasonable also. This is an all around great place to go.
I came to visit Lubbock and I had to stop by to see Coach Wylie. I ordered the fish plate and it was, no exaggeration intended, AWESOME! OMG! The portion was large, the fish was well seasoned, and it was reasonably priced. This was the highlight of my day! I can’t wait to come back.
I had heard rave reviews about this place and finally got a chance to try it. The service was excellent, the prices were reasonable, and the food was fantastic!
The food is excellent, but the help is not good at all. I will never return just the way I was treated today. A lady by the name, Renee treated me horrible over a price difference. She charged me more and which I tried to explain to her that the pricing outside was way different than what she was charging me. She said there was a big price increase, which is fine so I explained to her that that was fine, but that she might want to change the pricing up here. She told me I was more than welcome to call the owner because she wasn’t doing anything because she just worked there she was the most rude lady I have ever dealt with. This was my first time eating here and I will never return. It’s pretty sad how people like this work at your business and they treat customers this way and they lose customers over their attitude. There was another employee there helping her which she treated him the same way right in front of me which that is unacceptable. Wilie i do not know how you let people like this work for you you’re gonna lose customers if she treats every customer the way she treated me.
Staple of Lubbock. If you want good BBQ, this is your place. Chopped and Ribs are my favorites, and do not sleep on the sausage. I love the beans, and my wife wouldn’t let me come home without that potato salad. No frills, just great BBQ.
