The bbq was great! I enjoyed every bite I could eat of my fully loaded baked potato with chopped brisket. The sandwiches eaten by my family, they said we're very delicious and brisket was excellent. The service was great too. Our waitress was awesome and very attentive. Atmosphere was wonderful. We will definitely be going back to eat there again. Thank you.

My gf and I are from Denmark & Norway, traveling cross country at the moment.We did extensive research on the best BBQ in Texas along our route and The Shack came up frequentlyAnd oh boy did it not disappoint!!We did the three meat plate with brisket and ribs + Mac n cheese and loaded potatoesPortions are a great size and tasted absolutely amazing!!!We even snagged a little spicy BBQ sauce to goThe Shack is a must try place!!!Food amazing and Scott, the owner, is so kind and friendly!Service was great tooHighly recommend!!!

I was traveling and stopped here for dinner. At first i was weary because it was right off the road and dark but I'm glad we walked in. There were only a few people in the restaurant and there was great service. The ribs and brisket were amazing however I didn't love the sides. Overall I would definitely recommend to someone to eat!

Came to this BBQ restaurant thru a recommendation of a colleague. Luckily we arrived before the dinner rush. Our waitress Sarah provided prompt and fast service. We ordered an assortment of BBQ meats and sides to share. The brisket, turkey, and pulled pork were good with or without BBQ sauce. The potato salad was decent, the coleslaw was crisp and refreshing, while the collard green had a nice savory bacon and tomato flavor with a little bit of spicy heat. The place is a definite gem of a place with a relaxing atmosphere.

Today we stopped in for the very first time. Right off the bat, the ladies at the counter treated us like family! I was rooting for the food to be just as amazing... It was!!! Thank goodness!! Jordyn was patient, made great suggestions and we were thankful for them because we got to enjoy some really good food! The brisket just melts in your mouth, the sausage has great taste and snap and the pulled pork was amazing.. I don't like pulled pork, but this one i enjoyed. Overall, the place has great ambiance with the music, really clean and tidy, ceiling fans is a plus and great food/service.
