Very consistent BBQ and customer experience. Very good BBQ and they rarely run out of anything. On this visit the brisket was not fully cooked, the fat was still white and hard but that only happens 1 out of 20 visits. The jalapeno cheddar sausage was very similar, like a cold fire.Overall, very consistent.

We can never go wrong with Rudy's! We get this every time we can (We are from several hundred miles away), and we always leave with bottled Rudy's Sause for home. We'd found a Rudy's at Panama City Beach a couple of years ago while vacationing there with family. We got them hooked on Rudy's, too, but when they went back this year, it was closed, unfortunately. But this particular location at Lubbock never disappoints. Always clean, always friendly staff, and always great-tasting and great-quality of food. We've always eaten in, but today got food to take back to our hotel (we normally bring our rv, but chose to leave it over near Dallas this time) since our doggo was waiting in the vehicle while we fetched lunch.I had a brisket and turkey sandwich, hubby had a brisket and pulled pork sandwich (on toasted buns!). And to share, we ordered a jalapeno cheddar sausage link, potato salad, three bean salad, and creamed corn. Everything was delicious as always. Even Arya loved the tastes she got from my turkey. She even wanted mo re!

A good choice if you are in the mood for some brisket. Most definitely the finest I've tasted so far. As a New Yorker this was definitely a treat for me

First time trying Texas BBQ and it did not disappoint. The brisket was juicy, tender and smoky. The pork ribs were mostly juicy with some of the thicker meats being a bit dry and not very much smokiness, but still good overall. My father in law enjoyed the turkey sandwich and my mother in law said that the chicken was nice and juicy. The BBQ baked beans had no BBQ in it so it was savory and not sweet, but still pretty good. The cream of corn also was not sweet at all, but also still pretty good. The restaurant was clean with a backyard type of ambience. Counter service was good, but lacked the country style warmth.

I ordered a group meal from here for our game night on 6/15 to be ready for pick up around 5pm. The food was ready when we arrived, and was still at preferred temperatures when we got it back home. The pulled pork and moist brisket were juicy and packed full of flavor. All of the sides were delicious and had us going back for more, and I was surprised to see that they gave us an entire loaf of bread and a whole bottle of barbecue sauce! Everyone enjoyed the meal and had a great time.
