This will be the first and last visit. I had saw a pic of the loaded queso and was excited to try it. The young boy needed help and the help was in the back. Manger came out to "help" stood there and stared then asked what we had, we were still waiting to order and the only people. Ordered part of the food and was told the total we still had another meal to order there was only two of us btw. I was asked what I want on my baked potato, I'm a picky eater so I asked to see what the beans looked like,(only had to take off the lid) I was told "their just beans." There really wasn't enough queso to be sold but we were still sold it. Had to ask for the drink for the kids meal was told they don't have lids for the cup. The jalapeno poppers were salty, and here is a pic of the little Mitch chopped brisket sandwich. Great presentation. I paid $42 dollars for horrible service and salty food. Would not recommend would not go back.

Decided on their poppers, rib plate and brisket sandwich. First off, great service by the young man at the counter. I'll start with the sides because they were exceptionally good. The kettle chips included in the plates were excellent! Thick cut and crispy. Very nice touch. The green chile mac and cheese is also very good! Creamy with just a little kick. The okra was a good treat as well, crispy and well seasoned. Now for the meats, the ribs were moist and tender with a good smoke flavor coming through the only thing that could make it better is a better bbq sauce than the one they offer. I love a wet rib and this bbq sauce is pretty sweet. I'll pass on the sauce next time. The brisket was not as moist as it could have been but it was ok. The jalapeño peppers are delicious and a must try!

I ordered the two-meat plate, ribs and sliced brisket with cole slaw and dried okra. The okra was freshly cooked, while the Cole slaw was a bit basic it was better with salt and pepper. Both of the meats were on the dry side. The ribs were the better tasting of the two. Dipping in the sauce brought some moisture. The plate also came with a generous portion of thick-cut potato chips. This meal could be easily split for two smaller appetites. This was not bad BBQ. It certainly exceeded my expectations of truck stop BBQ. If traveling, I would find this the superior option on a Sunday afternoon. The value (21$ for two meats, two sides, chips, and a drink) and the speed of service were both exceptional.I intend to visit their other location at some point and see how they compare.
