Might be the best brisket we've ever had; and we've had a lot over the years. Sides and pulled pork were great, too. Corn muffins are on the sweet side, so fair warning there, and the sauces are on the vinegar-y side. Has live music 2 nights a week, and we were told there is a bar being added soon. Be sure to look at the hours of operation before coming, as they are limited compared to bigger establishments. Home-town feel here in Lewisville!

We've been wanting to give this restaurant a try for awhile now. It was worth the weight. Very tasty brisket, melt in your mouth. We tried the mac and cheese and the grilled veggies. Everything was very tasty.Great outdoor patio with heaters for the cold days and ceiling fans for our hot Texas summers. The only real issue is that the parking is very limited and not easy to get in and out of.

Stopped for lunch as we were checking out the Lewisville area. We both had loaded potatoes with chopped brisket. The potatoes were large, and the brisket was flavorful. I especially like the Habenero BBQ sauce. We took advantage of the great weather and ate outside. The stop was made even better when Terry Sullivan, owner, stopped by to chat with us. The friendly conversation was a great way to end the meal.

Wife and I stopped by on a Thursday night . The food here was amazing. I had the 3 meat plate($25.00) and my wife had the brisket potato.($14.00) My 3 meats were brisket, pulled pork and mild smoked sausage. It came with 2 sides. I got cream corn and Mac and cheese and sliced bread. The loading potato was huge. I had to finish it for my wife.😋 Brisket was very good , had a choice of fatty, med fatty or lean. I got the med fatty. It was very good and full of flavor. Pulled pork was very good. Smoked sausage very good. The cream corn was super good and the Mac and cheese was very good. Everyone here was super nice. Owner came over and gave us some comp sides to try . collar greens and beans. Beans were good. The collar greens were not bitter at all. Very tasty,( I was never a fan of coller greens but these were very good ). We got here at 5:00 only 2 tables were full and the time we left at 6:00 the line was out the door . We ordered 6 slices of pies to go .($8.00 each). 1.) Carrot cake- I thought it was okay but my wife really liked it. 2.) Buttermilk pie - Very sweet . 3.) Sweet potato pecan pie - Very sweet 4.) Caramel apple pie - Good , would be better served with vanilla ice cream. 5.) Pecan pie - Wife and I really liked it. That was the winner. (Please see pics). While I was up getting the pies a very nice lady came down and sat with my wife to ask how everything was. In the conversation she told her on Friday night they have all you can eat fried catfish and rolls for $16.00 and on Saturday they have all you can eat ribs and rolls for $18.00 😋. We will be back to try the all you can eat ribs.

We drive all over Texas for the best BBQ. We were at Franklins in Austin last week. THIS BBQ from Sullivan is in the top 3 of ALL the best BBQ in Texas. The brisket ribs and beans are 5 star plus. The owner is on site and a hell of a character! He has been in the restaurant business forever yet somehow is still very passionate about his product. Outstanding kind fast staff. The editors at Texas Monthly need to get their head out of their tails and get here for their next BBQ edition. This is the real deal and you don't have to drive 5 hours and be in line at 7am.
