5 ðŸŒŸ When you get close to the Kyle square you will smell this amazing aroma of bbq, and that my friends, is this place! When you arrive you are greeted by smiling faces that will make you feel welcomed and important. The sausage was my favorite and is now the best sausage I've eaten at any bbq place here in Texas. It's perfect! When you bite in you get this perfect snap, perfect texture and flavor. The rib left me speechless. They literally have the best rib I've eaten in my life! I usually always get sliced brisket but I'm so happy I tried the rib. The meat falls off the bone perfectly! And the flavor is perfect. I just can't explain any other way other than, perfect. The shredded brisket goes great on top the Mac n cheese, drizzled with some of their bbq sauce and it's a delicious combination. Their bbq sauce has a hint of mustard and it's deliciously unique. It's perfect thickness and perfect flavor. It compliments the meats very well. The coleslaw is a party in your mouth. I couldn't stop eating it! But I had to leave room for some nana pudding! Which is so yummy! When I was eating, I can just taste all the passion that they are putting into their food. I have found a bbq spot that I will eat at frequently. I can't wait to go back. My picture of the food was an after thought, I was eating and I was almost done when I realized I need to share the awesomeness with others. You get very generous portions and the price is very fair.

We came across this drive up window restaurant on a road trip to Waverly and it was such a treat for us. We love BBQ and had lots in our lifetime but Bloodworth BBQ is absolutely the best we have had. From the flavor to the tenderness of the meat it was all on point. Really amazing. We had brisket pork ribs coleslaw potatoe salad and mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was also a favorite. The desert the banana pudding was divine and I truly do not like banana pudding. This one was different real creamy and delicious had chunks of bananas in it. Yum. The service was also great and everyone of the employees were equally a delight to interact with. Met the owner Thomas was extremely friendly and such a pleasure to talk to.

This was our first visit. It won't be our last! Amazing place! The brisket was melt in your mouth delicious and we got to try the turkey too which was also great. Thomas (owner) came out and was checking on his customers making sure everything was good.We then got to talk with him for about 20 minutes after they were done for the day. Heck of a nice guy. He told us he even makes their sauce which fantastic!My advice: get there early. We arrived a little after 1pm and we were lucky they weren't out. We are definitely going back next time much earlier so we can get some ribs.Great place, great team, feels great to support local guys too. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed!

Finally made it to Bloodworths for their Sunday special Dino Rib. The bark was great, not overly peppered or salted. They let the meat speak for itself. It was very tender. I'm looking forward to going back. The sides we got were amazing. The Mac and Cheese was creamy and cheesy. The Potato Salad was also very creamy and delicious. Highly recommend checking this BBQ spot out when you are in Kyle.
