The price is obsurd. This is a franchise which is disappointing due to it supposedly being the oldest bbq joint in Texas. Definitely recommend going anywhere else for bbq the sweet tea was also very disappointing

One of the oldest in Texas, doing BBQ right, Southside Market & Barbecue always delivers a good meal that is served up quickly. No matter the location, I can always depend on well executed, Texas meat treats with some great sides that complete a proper BBQ experience. We ordered for curbside pickup. Nobody came out with our order. I went in to get it. When we got home, some of the sides were put in the wrong plates. The bbq sauces we ordered were missing. The brisket and ribs were really good. Potato salad was ok. Beans were good. Coleslaw was good. Baked potato was good.

Great local BBQ spot with a drive through. Overall the food was great. My wife ordered the brisket and sausage combo with potato salad and Mac & cheese and boy was that delicious. I ordered a 2 meat plate (pork ribs and chicken) with a side of corn on the cob and beans. Ended up being told the corn was sold out so I opted for the slaw. I was disappointed with the only 1 piece of rib on the 2 meat plate. The chicken had a great crust but was very fatty. The beans and slaw were flavorful.Overall a great experience. I'd definitely stop by again but would not order the chicken again tho.
