This was by far the best beef brisket we have ever had! I had no idea it could melt in your mouth like this! From the moment we arrived. "Lolo" showed us where to park. He showed us the ropes and made sure we were well cared for! The food was fast and oh so tasty! Everything was too good! I forgot to take pics BEFORE we ate so you can have posts of what we have to take back to the hotel HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Great find! It's not wonder it has so many positive reviews. The food is delicious, reasonably priced, and even with a line, it goes fast. I got the 3 meat platter with brisket, pork rib, and a beef sausage. The rib and brisket were excellent. The sausage was ok. I got the charred green beans and Mac n Cheese. 2 good options. There's plenty of inside and outside seating, but it does get quite crowded. I would definitely recommend coming here if you're in Houston.

Decided to stop by The Pit Room for some BBQ, and overall it was pretty solid. The brisket was tender and moist, just how I like it. The sausage had decent flavor but was a bit dry in my opinion. I enjoyed the variety of sides that paired well with the proteins. They also offered a few different sauces, but didn't think it pair that well with the meats. my favorite was the coffee-based one (I think), while the spicy sauce was a bit too tart for my taste. Parking is very limited, and while there's a fair amount of seating, it might be hard to find a spot if it's busy.

Exactly what I was looking for from a Texas BBQ joint! I've been all over the South having different kinds of BBQ, but had yet to go to Texas. The Pit Room in Houston was perfect for my first Texas BBQ experience. The brisket was really good, and the pulled pork was amazing. I was hoping to try the beef ribs, but they didn't have any when we went.My wife got the smoked turkey and the venison sausage. The sausage is definitely worth checking out if you go.The service was fast! We got in and got our lunch in less than 5 minutes!Highly recommend!

This place is definitely the real deal! I'm glad we got there "early" at 6 pm because by 7 there was a line out the door and down the block! This was on a Thursday night. Try the coffee BBQ sauce- it is different but grows on you! All of the dishes were unique and they aren't dialing it in here. Eat outside on the shared patio.
