More run down than a photos indicate food has a very smoky taste which I do like compared to other BBQs sauce was a very cheap mixture potato sides were cold this makes me concerned about sanitation procedures prices were about 25% too high it is not the nicest area of Westheimer I do not feel safe in the parking lot neither should single women because your boxed in with a busy entrance in low income in the back

They had so many selections of food. I got the 3 meat platter with Collard Greens and Potato Salad. The meats I got were the Chicken, Brisket, and the Jalepeno Sausage. The chicken was too smokie for me, you could taste the chemical of the smoke and it just wasn't good. The brisket was 8/10 and the sausage was 10/10. Also got the banana pudding. The portions were huge. You definitely get your money's worth here. Overall it was decent. Great service too.

I'm very hard to satisfy when it comes to smoke meat .. but i gotta say Stockyard delivers... the beef ribs .. SLAP... the moist brisket.. SLAP .. chicken .. SLAP.. all in everything was pretty good... no REALLY GOOD.. I'd recommend this BBq to anyone looking for good Texas BBQ
