First thing this was my first time going and let me tell you I got the two meat plate beans and fried corn 🌽 and let me tell you I've never had it before but it had me patting my foot as I ate it and the ribs was falling off the bone and I could taste the smoke in every bit the sausage on point. I'll definitely be back

First, the order was wrong!!!! Second, I paid $20 dollars for the smallest amount of food smh... especially for rib tips. The rib tips were tasty though. I'm from the Midwest where all of our bbq restaurants serve rib tips regularly and they did meet my expectations on that. This is my first visit, but I'm not sure if I'm willing to pay such a high price for rib tips. Just as a price reference, Chicago's cost of living is waaaay higher than Houston and for a large rib tip dinner fries included is about 12 bucks!!! With loads of tips...

We came because of the great reviews and eater review. It was great and a good value for what you get for the sandwiches. The rib tips and some of the sides I would pass on, but we liked the brisket and the sausage. The fried catfish was okay as was the shrimp. Nothing special on that. It took me about 15 min to get my food after ordering which isn't the end of the world!

Why have I never been here before!? This place exceeded my expectations. I knew it was going to be good when all the customers knew each other. Melanie was at the register, and she was great. Perfect person person for the customers contacts to be. I got the max plate to try a lot of different meats. It was enough for 2 people to eat and it was around 30 bucks!!! Bbq is never this cheap and good quality. I wish I lived closer because this would be my go to spot!

Experience/Environment: Pretty good. Enough seating in dinning area. Pretty popular place as dinning area was full, the line was long (but didn't take too long to order), and there were people coming to pick up as well.Price: Average. Not inexpensive but not outrageous.Food: Catfish was good, shrimps were big. Barbecue sauce was not my preference so that was disappointing for me. It had a strong cinnamon taste. I think the batter on the corn on a cob did too, so that was sad lol. But if you're into it, you'll love it!Service: Basic. Limited. lol. You order, they bring you the food. But there really isn't any interaction or checking in.Thank me later ;) Smile, eat, hydrate. Live honest and don't settle. Hope to see you out there! xo
