The Goode Company BBQ is hands down one of the best BBQ spots I've been to! Okay let's start off by saying never judge a book by its cover!! When I originally did my research I'd seen that this place is an old gem , however now I know it's a hidden gem ! I usually let the smell of bbq find me however if I'm not mistaken this places closes during the day for a hour took prep ?? Anyways without saying this place was really good to top it off the service was really top notch ! Maybe a little too good ! Give that man a raise !! The dessert was okay 7/10 I had banana pudding . I can't wait to come visit again!

This has been here lots of years for a reason. The intoxicating scent of smoked brisket invites you in, and the dark Old Texas decor (antique jukebox, gigantic buffalo head) sets the stage. The sliced brisket sandwich tasted delicious, though for me, too many bites were nothing but fat. The Austin Baked Beans were wonderful, unlike any I've found anywhere else, a delicious gathering of beans, pieces of brisket, peppers, onions, and chunks of apple. A piece of Brazos Bottom Pecan Pie wrapped things up. Yum.

Visited on (2/22/25) and I was very impressed. The food was fresh and tasty. Nice variety of BBQ and drinks, all for a very reasonable price. I ordered the chopped brisket sandwich, turkey and chicken combo player w/ green beans and jambalaya rice, and banana pudding.The memorabilia and photos of past times gave a down home old western style feel to it, although the lighting in the establishment could be a little brighter. I will definitely be back to when I visit the upper Kirby area.

We love Goode Co.!! My husband and I are frequent flyers, and make dining on their patio our weekend ritual. Their portions are great. We especially love their BBQ sauce, Sweet Tea, Brisket and Loaded Baked Potatoes.ðŸ¤¤ We recently got to try their Banana Pudding and it was amazing too! Their staff is always so kind, attentive, and happy to serve us. We love having this gem in our neighborhood!
