Pricing is more than competitive with metroplex barbques. This is a very small quaint place. Has the feel of a local neighborhood eatery. I've never seen it real busy. I've only seen two or three people that work there and they are always polite and friendly. I always get the chopped Brisket sandwich that comes on Texas toast. Really good sandwich.

Pros: I got the lunch special for $16 Everything was delicious, beans, pork ribs, onions, etc. The front desk service was nice and friendly.Cons: I had to go to the restrooms and the only door made me forget about it. Look around the building until you found the sign that says "entrance" should be more visibleOther than that was good.

Definitely a value play. This is a hole in the wall place, very friendly. Morgan is the owner and she has owned this place for 16 years.Ribs had good seasoning, brisket a little dry. Carolina style bbq sauce is a nice change up. The potatoes salad feels like something home style from grandma's house in the 70s with big chunks of dill pickle. This isn't a fancy Dallas bbq place, it's down home.

If you're in the area and need some good bbq Mike's is the place to stop. It may not look like much on the outside but the grub definitely makes up for the curb appeal. I got the one meat plate and subbed my 2 sides for one large baked potato. Drink, taxes and all came to about 16.50 which isn't bad considering the cost of meat currently. The bbq sauce wasn't what I would consider traditional or typical but was good all the same. Not a single bad thing to say about the food. Walked away very full, wondering how I'm going to finish the work day with this food baby.
