The food and service was great. This was the first weekend of the month, so there were options of collard greens, mac & cheese, and smoke peach cobbler. Serving size for the price is great- we ordered the 3-meat plate that comes with two sides. Drink options include sweet tea and 3 flavors kool-aid of kool-aid. We will definitely be back again.

Tucked away at the Frisco farmers market is some of the best BBQ Texas has to offer. I have had my fair share of barbecue while living in Texas, so for me to say this is clutch. Great flavor, delish BBQ sauce, tender meat, and friendly staff. The sides (potato salad & mac & cheese) could use some additional tlc to tweak the recipe. But all in all, it’s worth a try.

For the positives…..I came last week to try the turkey legs. This place was recommended as a potential spot to purchase a smoked turkey for Thanksgiving. So I figured I’d try the turkey leg to get an idea of their flavor profiles/taste. Last week they were sold out of turkey legs so I got their rib tips which were pretty good although I did not care for the sides. I came back today to get the turkey legs because everyone kept hyping them up. I’ve never been so irritated by food in my life! The turkey leg was smoked but had absolutely no flavor! I mean zero! How is that even possible?! Just bland smoked meat. I was highly disappointed because I just wasted a drive/gas and $16.

Drove to Frisco to try this out. went there for the oxtail. First time there, didn’t like how one of the ladies directed me to the line, but that’s beside the point. Spent $33 on an oxtail plate. Although I won’t ever eat the bread, you put a topper (British term for ends of the loaf) in my plate??? Really??? As sorry as that piece of the loaf is, couldn’t you just afford to throw it away?? See pictures, that’s a sorry a*$ piece of bread, next time throw it away.
Food………They lost points for that sorry piece of bread.
Service….. Lost points for the way I was ordered to the line.
    Atmosphere….. Nothing

Do not miss out on this gem of a bbq spot. Our first time at Frisco Fresh Market and we could smell their bbq from the parking lot. Completely drew us in!! We shared the 3 meat plate with pulled pork, brisket and sausage with potato salad and the best red beans and rice I’ve ever had. It was so good we got a second box to take home for dinner. Super friendly staff and just all around perfect! Highly recommend and we will be back!!
