I don't normally leave reviews but this place is amazing. Before we even walked in the door, we were greeted by Ernest himself. He was very friendly. We gave our order at the counter and then sat down. It didn't take long before our food was brought to us and it was delicious. But the part that really made this place so wonderful was how nice and welcoming everyone was here. Several times the owner or the staff checked on us and chatted with us. They made me feel like we were friends and it was really nice. If you are in the area you should definitely stop by and get you some good food.

I had been here several times before but I brought my mom and daughter for the first time. Ernest bbq came highly recommended. I love ❤️ the Mississippi catfish coleslaw and potato salad!! My mom had the same and my daughter had the chopped brisket yum ðŸ˜‹ 10/10 . Tartar sauce was proportioned perfectly for the fish serving. Rib tips were nice and meaty not too much gristle. Brisket was tender and flavorful. Green beans were good. Potato salad was good. Baked beans were good. Cobbler was serviceable. Nice and clean.

1st time here on Friday 1/31, and it was absolutely amazing! I got the catfish fillet plate with coleslaw and okra and everything was seasoned very well and cooked fresh. My husband got the 2 meat plate with polish sausage and brisket, and everything was extremely tender and flavorful. They definitely don't skimp on the portions here. The owner Mr. Earnest even came over to speak to us and that made us feel very welcome and valued as 1st time customers. From the hospitality to the food I definitely give this place 10 stars ðŸŒŸ. I very highly recommend this place and will let my family, colleagues, church members, know to make a trip here ASAP!!!!
