BBQ is way below expectations, but it was not bad. The sausage is unremarkable. Brisket was a little fatty, but the pork was great. Service was slow and we had to ask for BBQ sauce multiple times. There were at least 3 times I left the table to go fetch water, salt shaker, or something else because we were tired of waiting. The sad part is that this was around 6pm. They weren't busy and it is mystifying why service was so terrible. Also, the Mac and cheese was milky, however the grits and cornbread were delicious. Totally hit or a complete miss.Wouldn't recommend.

You can enter through the store on the front or walk around back to enter directly in the restaurant. They offer BBQ, sandwiches and salads. They do have salads and sandwiches that are or can be modified to be vegan or vegetarian. I got the beet salad ($16) and fried okra ($9 but big enough for 2 people). The food was good but a little overpriced. My husband got the BBQ plate and enjoyed it as well. There is free street parking out front or a large gravel parking lot behind the building.

What a gorgeous hidden gem. We (2 adults, 2 under 10s) had a lovely night with fabulous food and brilliant service from Thomas. We went on a Wednesday night and it was quiet with a lovely friendly atmosphere. The cocktails were brilliant and really great value (including personal touches with Thomas checking which spirits we preferred, or how spicy we'd like it), and the freshly-baked skillet cookie made the night. Highly recommend!

My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Mesquite at the Warehouse. We were absolutely blown away by the exceptional food, service, and atmosphere!I ordered the fresh Garden Salad. The salad tasted like it was harvested today, with crisp, fresh greens, juicy cherry tomatoes, and basil. It was truly a delight! My husband's smoked chicken sandwich was perfectly smoked, paired with creamy guacamole, cherry tomatoes, and arugula. The brisket queso dip is a must pick! It is served with homemade gluten friendly tortilla chips. Our server Valente, was informative, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The venue itself is a gem, with rustic touches and a relaxing atmosphere.Overall, Mesquite at the Warehouse is a must-visit destination in Fredericksburg, TX. With its outstanding food, exceptional service, and charming atmosphere, this restaurant is sure to become a favorite. They opened August 2024.

I came here for Valentine's Evening dinner and it was decent. The service was good. I would avoid the queso dip as it was very thick and reminded me more of a soup unfortunately. The filet was good but not to the level of speciality I would have expected at its price point. The cornbread was very good though!
