I hate to pile on the negativity but this place was bad. They didn't have any brisket OR ribs, just pulled pork. This is Texas not North Carolina. I don't know why i expected better from a gas station place. I won't be going back

The place was great the environment was okay I ordered coleslaw mac and cheese and a pulled pork sandwich the pulled pork sandwich was okay but they added liquid smoke to it and I didn't really like that and I get it the mac and cheese was not good at all it was spicy and I did not ask for spicy it was all liquidy and disgusting and I don't know if it was because it was in a gas station but it was all just disgusting 😤🤢🤮

Never got to try their food. Went in, guy in back looks up at us......No one ever came out. That's ok. We will take our $$ elsewhere

I stopped here Friday May 6th about 2:30pm to get dinner before going camping. I did not realize I ordered the family meal, regardless, I received a slab of meat, a pound and a half of brisket, not sliced like I ordered or chopped just a slab of brisket. I ordered potato salad and fried okra. I received mashed potatoes and white gravy which I did not notice until I had arrived at my campsite an hour away. The brisket was so cold and dry by the time I got to Mission Tejas State Park in Weches from Frankston that it was not edible. I was so disappointed because it was not cheap and I despise wasting food. The lady in the back did come out and tell me it was only her 3rd day on the job. I will not be going back.
