Panther City BBQ needs to be in the conversation when talking about the best barbecue in the DFW Metroplex. The meats are smoked perfectly and we especially appreciate the pork ribs which are considerably different with their deliciously sweet rub. I don't normally like my barbecue sweet but this stuff is amazing. Don't come here without getting the pork ribs!

Great BBQ and great people. Awesome place to eat outside and enjoy amazing juicy and smokey brisket or some smacking tacos. Service was a little slow and they brought banana pudding as an apology. Stewardship. Amazing pudding too

Panther City BBQ feels like a restaurant and bar that happens to have really good, but not great BBQ.The line moves extremely fast thanks to the cashier sending orders to the full service kitchen. You don't interact with the meats at all and don't see anybody cutting them unlike most other BBQ establishments. So you miss the fun, but get the speed - a fair trade. For context, I visited on a Saturday at 1130 and had food by 1200.The brisket is very good and their best meat followed closely by the pulled pork. The turkey was dry and borderline bad because of it. The pork ribs reminded me of spare ribs from an Asian restaurant which was fun, but unexpected in a bad way. Everything else was pretty mid. You should visit with a friend or two and get hells half acre to get a sample of everything. The sides are all very good and earn their menu space.Eat in house if you can because it's a fun venue. Theirs indoor and outdoor seating, plus a full bar named Republic Bar. Is this a Michelin worthy BBQ spot? Definitely no. Is it a top 10 in TX? Probably not. It's just a solid tier 2 ish BBQ spot that's worth a visit if you're nearby. Don't go out of your way for it unless you truly hate waiting in lines.

In the last few decades, I've had the pleasure of BBQ trips across all the Southern states, from east to west. I thought I'd seen it all, but Panther City BBQ was a complete surprise. Their Latin American-inspired menu expanded what I expected from Texas BBQ.We started with the burnt ends, which were phenomenal with pops of flavours that melted in your mouth. The pork spare ribs were also a hit, fall-off-the-bone with a balanced hit of sweetness. The Smoked Brisket Guisada was done to perfection and eaten like a taco.On the side, we had Spicy Smoked Mac & Cheese, smooth with a finish of spice. We loved the Barracho Beans, but found them a bit salty. Lastly, the Spicy Vinegar Slaw was fresh and delivered the final kick!Panther City BBQ is a definite must-stop for any BBQ aficionados. The lines can get a bit long, but it's worth it!

Not the best barbecue I've ever had but pretty good. Ribs had a sweet barbecue sauce flavor. I did really enjoy the (lean) brisket sandwich. Brisket was very well done. Sides were amazing. Some of the best collard greens I've ever had. Mac and cheese was to die for- creamy with a little bit of spice. I didn't love the dill potato salad but the baked potato salad looked delicious. The desserts looked good too. Patio is great for a nice day outside with family or to watch a game. Staff was nice as well.
