Fantastic staff and lunch 😁 really cool place. The food is very good with lots of options. The spicy sauce has a very good sweet flavor to add to just a little kick. About $20 a person that’s par for any good BBQ these days.

I traveled to the DFW area to visit my daughter who lives in Caddo Mills. I asked her for a good recommendation for BBQ. She let me know she had been to Wood And Time Smokehouse BBQ previously and recommended going there again. So we did!

This is my honest assessment of my first visit on the evening of 06/22/2024.

We walked in and were immediately greeted by an awesome staff. From the gentleman taking our order to the staff prepping our food, to the cashier – the staff could not have been more accommodating and welcoming.

The gentleman that was preparing our order offered us two large samples of the smoked brisket. I am a ‘burnt-ends fatty brisket’ guy – and his two samples did not disappoint.

My daughter and I sat down to have our meal and wound up having a conversation with a Ms. Lisa and her young son whom were seated next to us. It turns out she is related to the owner. The conversation between the four of us could not have been better.

The food? Beyond exceptional in my opinion. The service? It just doesn’t get any better. Warm, friendly and very welcoming as if we were family as well.

Well, suffice it to say, we returned for a second time the following day on Sunday after church to rinse and repeat. Like Saturday night, it was an amazing experience.

Keep up the GREAT work that you all do at Wood And Time Smokehouse BBQ. The quality of food, the service and the overall atmosphere is what will keep your doors open and more people coming – for many years to come. Thank you!

Standalone BBQ restaurant just off the Farmersville downtown. Plenty of parking available in a parking lot by the restaurant. Order at the counter and they bring it out to you. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable. The cornbread and beans were very good. Mac & cheese was very dry. Jalapeno and cheddar sausage was good. Turkey was ok. The brisket was very tender and had some bark but was very fatty and had almost no smoke flavor. Very disappointing. Overall, for a Texas BBQ restaurant, it is very mediocre and unfortunately very forgettable. Sorry, cannot recommend.

Very friendly staff. Nicely decorated and clean restaurant and bathrooms. Plenty of parking. Family-friendly, kid friendly. food was delicious. Very tender meat. There was too much fat on brisket and was sliced, too thin, but it was good. Bring the family, but check when it’s open. They are not open every day. Not good! I could eat BBQ everyday!

I tried the ribs, they were very tough , okra burnt. This was the worst excuse for BBQ I’ve ever had. Family member tried the 2 meat plate, the meats didn’t have much taste and the portions were not enough to feed a small child. The onion rings were served cold, okra served cold. The workers were not friendly, very poor service. I do not recommend this place. Don’t waste your money or time.
