i do not recommend this place. and i won't be coming back next time i go fishing in RC Reservoir. brisket was dry. Brisket was cold. Beans were cold. and chopped, juicy coleslaw? yuck! worst coleslaw i've ever had at a bbq place. Not that many people like coleslaw anyway. The main thing is, the brisket was not hot when served.

What a hidden treasure! Great bbq, friendly service, and definitely not your typical gas station food.We were traveling through the area, so this was an unexpected but delicious stop. We had chopped brisket sandwiches, mac, potato salad, & beans - everything was full of flavor. We'll be back!!!

Really great Bar B Que. Enjoyed the Cole's Special, Ribs are tender and moist. Delicious sauce. Just across the road from the TA truck stop, across the highway from the Love's truck stop.

I was told that this place had the best barbecue that the person who told me this ever had. That's always a scary statement.Stopped here on the way home from Dallas. It's in a gas station so the environment is just that.I was more amused by the store than the barbecue. The prices are average for a barbecue restaurant. We tried the three plate with turkey, brisket, and sausage. I would only get the brisket again if I came here again. It wasn't great, but it wasn't bad.The turkey was definitely dried out and a waste of time. The sausage tasted like those Earl Campbell hot links you get from the grocery store. That was a waste of time too.The brisket has potential. It's not the best brisket you will eat, but it's definitely edible. They give you a shit ton of meat here. We shared a plate and had plenty of food left over for dinner the same night. The rest of the brisket, chopped beef sandwiches, and those were pretty good.

NASTY!!!! This used to be our favorite spot to stop every trip but I will NEVER be back after today. At least half of my chopped beef sandwich was large chunks of fat! If you do decide to purchase a chopped beef sandwich, watch the prep and inspect your sandwich before you leave. They had a nice pile of sliced brisket for "show" on the chopping board. What I got I wouldn't feed to my dog. I used to be able to get over how year after year they are even more run down than the last, but it just looks disgusting inside now. The service was awful, almost like we were an inconvenience to the young man who took my order and prepared our food. $24 for 2 fat filled sandwiches, definitely not worth it or the time it took to stop.
