You know when I moved to El Paso I didn't really expect any good bbq places as good as where I'm from in the central Texas area, but when I came here to Tony's it blew me away on how the quality of everything was here . I had the #5 with a beef sandwich and 2 ribs . The brisket was very delicious and very tender and the ribs were spot on. I couldn't believe how good the food was, I love everything about this place. As a first timer taking my family here we will for now on be going to Tony's. The staff was very friendly and kind. If Tony's The Pit Bar-B-Q hasn't already been on Texas Monthly bbq well then they should they deserve a shot. I just want to thank Tony's the Pit BAR-B-Q family for being very nice to my family and showing how much they love to cook Bar-B-Q. Thank you

The staff at the food portion were very friendly and helpful. The staff at the pay area was less than stellar. They charged us for items we didn't order and didn't even deliver 1/2 of what they charged us for. The brisket was dry and bland and wasn't even warm, the coleslaw was OK, and the fries were hot and fresh but unsalted.

Once again. Took some good friends here and Tonys now has more customers!!! Same great taste. Can't go wrong with the brisket sandwich and ribs. Good potato salad and just general atmosphere! Love it hereLove this place. I found it a about 5 or 6 years back and have been coming here since. I always get the #5 Regular Brisket sandwich with two ribs. The food has great taste and the sauce is pretty delish too! Opened up in 1958 . Service is always top notch. They are always smiling and welcoming!!! I'll keep coming here to enjoy the brisket sandwich!

Came here because the reviews were great and the restaurant was highly recommended. Unfortunately, I was disappointed in the food. I ordered the nachos which included beans, cheese, jalapeños, and brisket. The brisket was bland, and the chips and cheese are comparable to what you can get at a convenience store or movie theater. I eventually scraped off the meat and ate it on its own with some of the barbecue sauce for flavor. I can recommend the sausage - that was great! Not sure food is worth the price. Can't say too much about the staff. The chef behind the counter was very nice with answering any questions we had, but that was the extent of our interaction with them.
