Tried Famous Dave’s EP location for the first time yesterday with my family and had a great experience! We happened to go on the day they were having their “All star BBQ” contest and just happened to miss the main event. Surprisingly it wasn’t too jam packed for them having such a big event going on but I wasn’t complaining. We were a party of 3 and got seated right away.
Our waitress was very good and attentive. She made sure to explain their 3 different BBQ flavors offered although we ended up trying them all anyways with the free Dave’s seasoned chips she brought to our table. Definitely recommend the sweet one!
For our entrees I ordered their BBQ pulled chicken sandwich with a side of Dave’s Mac and cheese as well as a cornbread muffin, my husband got the Sliced pork sandwich with a side of potato salad and my son got their mini corn dogs.
Everything tasted great! I do highly recommend the pulled chicken sandwich, they had just the right ratio of chicken to the sandwich buns. And their mac and cheese was DELICIOUS! Had a bit of a kick to it since it does have jalapeños in the recipe but I didn’t mind at all. I also tried the potato salad my husband had with his entree and it was definitely five star.
My husband said he enjoyed his meal and my son liked his corn dogs as well so I consider that a win!
The only thing I will mention is that the atmosphere was a tad bit too loud for my liking. It may have been because they had the All Star event going on so there was music blaring outside but inside the restaurant was also very loud. Just my personal preference though, it may not bother others.
Other than that I definitely would return again! I loved everything that I tried on my first visit, not to mention it was only around $40 for 3 people which is awesome! With the price of inflation these days I feel like going out to eat has mostly been averaging around double the price so I love that it was very affordable for us.
Five stars for Famous Dave’s EP location!
This was my first time coming here. BBQ places aren’t my first pick at all. I personally don’t like smoked foods because it just tastes burnt to me and that statement is my opinion and NOT a reflection on the food here. That being said… I shouldn’t have to pay full price for a kids size meal. The celery sticks were larger than my chicken tenders. The fries were great, the cornbread muffin tasted like cake and I honestly thought of it as a little dessert. What really got me was the CORN hidden in the mac n cheese. That was like putting raisins in potato salad.
The staff were all absolutely amazing, though! The server was attentive and so friendly!
It’s my second time visiting the restaurant. The ribs are hard and over cooked. I can tell the ribs are a day or two old. The cook should know what to serve and what not to serve. Can’t be a good cook serving food he or she wouldn’t eat. My brisket has to much fat on it. Over all disappointing meal. I’m to the point of not telling anyone about this restaurant. Manager should be checking the meat every 2 hrs. I don’t see any awards was won if the ribs are terrible.
Placed order on app. Was greeted and walked to the pick up area by hostess. I believe it was a manager walked up a couple minutes later asked me if I had been helped. She checked on my food, had a nice conversation while waiting. The only bad thing was that I was missing one of my sides when I got home. Called them and was told to stop by anytime for my side and a dessert. Food was delicious.
I visited today with my brother nice place by the way very nice good place to hang out.During our visit we enjoy the food I order some wing and he order a burger very delicious by the way our server name Marissa was very polite and very attentive with us she got everything at point I dint miss anything on my order. If you ask me she deserve a promotion –
