Hello community, hear my thoughts on ACE Barbecue. We visited the Edinburg location on Saturday around 6:00pm the restaurant was empty no customers. My first thought was it's Saturday and everyone is busy eating at home LOL. I ordered 1/2 pound Fajita along with a side salad and fries. The meat was dry and very bland the salad looked fresh I didn't eat it due to I don't like ranch and that's the only dressing available the fries tasted good the portion size was small. My wife orders 3 meat dinner Brisket, sausage and ribs with a salad and corn cob. The ribs were very small portions hardly any taste. The brisket was descant small portion. The sausage tasted good again very small portion. The corn was dry no taste. I expected something better tasting and larger portion. My overall thought I paid $52.00 for two meals with a drink I would not mind paying that much if it would taste better and larger portions.

Food was delicious. I got brisket and sausage tacos with a side of fideo and beans. Everything was perfect. Nice friendly atmosphere. Very clean restaurant and my waitress Lily was helpful and polite. Great job guys ! I'll be back to try the rest of the menu.

Good BBQ with a great variety available. Large serving sizes, so I had to share my plate. The meats were flavorful and juicy. The BBQ sauce had a pepper/spice flavor, but it was savory. My daughter approves the classic cheeseburger! I overheard a manager/owner tell another customer they could get a free alcoholic beverage, but that was not offered to my group (I'm not sure if this is usual). Overall, we would return when in the mood for good BBQ.
