Came here for a good Tex mex meal and wasn't impressed. It was your run of the meal Mexican food nothing special. Kinda bland and room temperature. The chips were stale and the salsa was very tomato flavored no spice at all. I was kinda surprised at the Bible verses every where yet there is a full blown bar kinda ironic I guess. It's good if you got no other options.

Update 2025: This place is truly exceptional. When you think it doesn't get better, it somehow does. I will go out of my way to come here every chance I get.Original post 2022: The waitress was amazing, and they refilled my complimentary chips and salsa right away. The food came out quickly and tasted amazingly delicious 🤌. If you're in the area for sure, stop by. There is rig parking behind the catfish place next door. HEY! If you read my review, give me a follow here on google and eat around the country with me.

🤤BELIEVE THE REVIEW! THIS PLACE WAS THEE BEST! I normally don't like Mexican Restaurants BECAUSE, I am half "Español Mexicano" & MOST of the time I believe that what I cook is better & cost less than any restaurant, ALTHOUGH this restaurant definitely has it GOING ON! I would have done a review last night although I was too full to do anything, EVERYTHING was SUPERB, here, EVERYTHING! Brianna was our waitress and she was as sweet & accurate as what anybody could ask for, thank you Brianna! The Smoked Gran Parrillada was DELICIOUS! There was 2 of us & so much leftover (enough for dinner tonight)! 😋 P.S. the photo of the Shrimp has THAT CHEESE PULL (it's not a noodle)! 😋 We look forward to coming back & will definitely tell everyone about The Villa Grande Ranch!

Family fun, excellent service, delicious Tex Mex cuisine! Stopped for lunch on the way to Armarillo. We had our dog and choose to sit outdoor in their beautiful outdoor area. Chips, salsa, and queso were great starters. My husband ordered the fajita nachos and he cleaned his plate 😋I had the avocado soup which was very filling. My mother ordered the fajita enchiladas. We enjoyed the outdoor area. Thank you for an excellent experience.

As a person with celiac (gluten free) I expect restaurants that mark allergies on their menu to know what those allergens are. My waitress did not know anything about allergens and admitted it immediately. She got the manager who was only slightly better, offering me flour tortillas if I don't like corn is obviously not an option. She did know things like the chips and taco shells are in a shared fryer with gluten items and therefore not safe but I had to coax that out of her with very specific questions. The food itself was consistently flavorless and sad across all the different meals my family got. The brisket tacos were very dry. The only food everyone agreed on being decent was the beans. I love refried beans as a dip with chips but I can't have their chips so we won't be back. Also, don't bother with the kids nachos. Just order the kid a cup of queso, they'll get more to eat and cost less.
